Adult Services
Macon Resources has many programs for adults. We offer Case Management/Assessment Services, Development/Vocational Training, Residential Services, Adult Outreach Services, and Community Employment Services.
Our comprehensive programs focus on providing services and supports, which promote growth, independence, and self worth.
Community Employment Services
Macon Resources, Inc.'s (MRI) Community Employment Services gives people with disabilities the tools they need to find a job. And for adults, a job means independence and self worth. We represent people with a wide range of abilities, education, and experience.
MRI partners with many area businesses-a list that is continually growing-to provide jobs to uniquely qualified individuals who are part of MRI's Community Employment Services. We work closely with the employee and employer to ensure the employment opportunity is a success.
“Our son, Bob, is a 28-year-old with Down syndrome. He has been with Macon Resources since he graduated high school. After attending the food skills training program for six weeks, Macon Resources helped Bob apply to different businesses in the community; he was hired by a chain restaurant where he has been employed for seven years. He likes his job and loves the people he works with.”
