Residential Services

Through Macon Resources, Inc.'s (MRI) Residential Services, four to eight individuals live in a home of their own with 24/7 staff support. These homes are called Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA). MRI has seven CILA homes in the Decatur area.

Airport CILA—8 beds

Fontenac CILA—8 beds

Lost Bridge CILA—8 beds

Macarthur CILA—6 beds

Main Street CILA—4 beds

Marlin CILA—4 beds

Timari CILA—8 beds

People with developmental disabilities build independent living skills like room care, personal care, social skills, and community integration with the help of our CILA staff. Each person's unique needs are met through family-style dining, personalized rooms, and individualized services. Plus, we ensure residents know how to use medical support.

“Our son, Bob, is a 28-year-old with Down syndrome. He has been with Macon Resources since he graduated high school. After attending the food skills training program for six weeks, Macon Resources helped Bob apply to different businesses in the community; he was hired by a chain restaurant where he has been employed for seven years. He likes his job and loves the people he works with.”
